The Board of Directors for Harris County Water Control & Improvement District #96 is proud to announce the groundbreaking of the Fall Creek Sports Complex expansion project!
The groundbreaking ceremony held at the complex on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 was hosted by Board President Brett Sileo and members Lonnie Jackson, Linda Ihns, and Ben Bates. Along with Texas Parks and Wildlife representative Matt Fougerat, the first shovels of dirt were turned to officially kickoff the project. BGE’s Director of Planning and Landscape Architecture Brett Mann, Project Manager Tung Huynh, District Engineer Cindy Fields, attorney Julianne Kugle with SK Law, Gandolf Burrus with Grant Development Services, and Recreation Director Kas Wright were also on site to help commence construction on the newest amenities including: a splash pad, additional playground equipment, more walking and bike paths, bird watching stations, batting cages, two dog parks, and a butterfly garden. A special thanks goes out to other project partners including D.L. Meacham, Kraftsman, and Lonestar.
