- Problem Solving
Throughout my consulting career, I have been responsible for improving the organizational efficiency and functioning of hundreds of companies and organizations. As a consultant, I have professional skills in engaging organizations to evaluate their functioning, analyze their data, and then execute targeted improvements. My role in these engagements is to identify strengths and weaknesses in organizational efficiency pertaining to human resources, product quality, fiscal management, and workflow process, and then work collaboratively with organizations to find, implement, and evaluate plausible solutions.
By working in a variety of industries, with thousands of culturally diverse professionals and lay people, I have acquired a unique skill set in quickly adapting to a broad range of people, businesses, and organizational issues. My current role as the director of a successful firm includes the management of operations, finances, and projects. I also coordinate my firm’s team leadership and help mentor fresh professionals and interns. My success in this role depends on my ability to develop and sustain positive working relationships with others, and find amicable solutions for often competing agendas.
By volunteering to become an HOA board member, I would like to use my skill set to help improve the quality and safety of our community. Towards this end, my two primary foci are to ensure that homeowners have a voice in the decision making process of the HOA, and to proactively safeguard the community from future financial challenges. My background is uniquely suited to help develop an equitable and sustainable neighborhood plan as we continue to grow and change. My experience being on similar board and cabinet positions offers insight into the responsibility of this position, and has allowed me to set proper expectations of the role and what it demands.
In addition to my professional expertise, I also have an intense personal interest in helping others in need. My involvement in non-profits has allowed me to offer help and guidance to families in need, whether that be from the burden of addiction, mental illness or poverty. I am hoping to translate this same passion into helping the residents of Fall Creek. Given the momentum of the current HOA board members, I am excited to become further acquainted with them, and ask for your vote to allow me the opportunity to join them in their mission of making our neighborhood a safe and well-managed community.
