Community Planting Day

Come beautify Fall Creek Park’s new butterfly meadow! Learn to sow native seed and plant wildflowers. Get some fresh air and exercise while getting to know your neighbors.
The butterfly meadow is off to a good start—And it also can be improved! Our goal is to increase the ecological benefit of the meadow for butterflies and other pollinator while also increasing its attractiveness and getting a head-start on spring blooms.
Well-behaved children 9 and up are welcome to join both the orientation and planting events with a supervising parent:Orientation–Not required, but highly recommended!
- Friday, November 4th, 5-6 p.m.
- Location: Butterfly Meadow Along Trails of Fall Creek Park (near bayou, see map below). Park at the Sports Complex at 9810 Wyatt Shores Drive, Humble, TX 77396
