Dear Fall Creek Residents,
We know many of you are looking forward to the reopening of the Enclave Pool (“Pool 2”), and we’re just as excited to have everyone back enjoying the pool this summer. We wanted to share a brief update –
Unfortunately, we were unable to open the pool within the original timeline due to unexpected plumbing issues discovered after removing the pool deck, along with recent rain delays.
The perimeter fence repairs requested by Harris County have been completed, and a reinspection is scheduled for next week. If no additional issues are identified, we expect to receive the pool permit required to reopen the facility.
The spa installation is nearly finished, with plaster being one of the final steps. We have been advised that freshly applied plaster is especially vulnerable during the first 7–10 days and that any damage during this period would be costly to repair. With that in mind, the pool facility will remain closed during this initial curing period to prevent any potential damage.
Once the County has issued our pool permit and the spa plaster has cured undisturbed for 7–10 days, we will reopen the pool. We will send another update like this one as soon as we have a confirmed reopening date. Please note that while the pool will reopen first, the spa will require an additional three weeks to finish curing and will open after that period.
In the meantime, the main Pool at 7930 Fall Creek Bend will be open weekends in May, beginning this Saturday following the swim meet.
Thank you and we’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back very soon!
Regards,
Fall Creek Homeowners Association
