Fall Creek Block Party Day: April 23
Who
Everyone in Fall Creek!
What
A Crime Watch initiative to have neighbors out getting to know each better, which is overall beneficial and makes it easier to keep an eye out for one another.
When
April 23. Deputies will be going around to meet people starting at 4 pm, but your block captain or block party coordinator may set a different time for your village’s event.
Where
Each village/section will throw an appropriate number of block parties so residents can get to know the neighbors on their street and nearby streets. Get with your local Block Party coordinator to find out where your party will be, or just show up with food & fam to the nearest grill you see outside!
How
Start talking about it today with your neighbors. Check with your block captain or block party coordinator, if you already have one, to see what to bring. If there’s not a block captain or coordinator, step up!
You can download the editable Fall Creek Block Party Flyer and a helpful Block Party Checklist for Organizers here. Just update the contact & other info and post it on the mailbox for your neighbors to see. Setting up the event can be as simple as someone bringing out their grill and everyone bringing their own hot dogs or burgers to throw on.
Check for your block captain HERE and join your village’s Group in NextDoor to start a conversation with your section. Email [email protected] with questions and check back here for any updates. Have a great time!
3rd Annual Bunny Run & Family Easter Egg Hunt
Thank you to all of those who came out and supported FOPAWS & the Fall Creek community on March 26!
With 297 runners (125 more than last year!), the race, egg hunt, silent auction, raffles, pictures with the Easter bunny, and endless activities were a huge success.
Please visit www.runhoustontiming.net for all race results and the FOPAWS of Fall Creek Facebook page for pictures of the event.
