Dear Fall Creek Residents,
The HOA Board of Directors is aware of the disturbance that occurred toward the end of last Friday’s Music in May event and has carefully evaluated solutions moving forward.
If weather permits this Friday’s event, the following changes will be implemented:
- A significant increase in the number of Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies on-site (nearly tripled)
- Enforcement of the prohibition of unaccompanied minors and non-Fall Creek residents, in coordination with HCSO.
- All minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. While this is a community event, we ask for parents’ cooperation in ensuring proper supervision of minors throughout the duration of the event.
- Attendance is limited to Fall Creek residents and their guests
- Additional signage throughout the event area and at drop-off locations outlining residency and supervision requirements
If these measures do not sufficiently address the issue, the Board may consider further adjustments, including modifying event hours and/or implementing a check-in or wristband system to verify residency at future events.
The Board recognizes how important and well loved this event is within the community and appreciates your cooperation in helping ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all moving forward.
