Enclave Butterfly Garden Grand Opening
By Carol Deeb, Landscape Committee member
The Landscape Committee in association with the Fall Creek HOA Board, would like to welcome you to
the fun, long anticipated Enclave Butterfly Garden Grand Opening on Saturday, April 27th from 10:00 AM
to 1:00 PM. The garden is located at the Enclave Park, adjacent to the small pool on Mesa Rd. past the
elementary school.
We are offering brief guided tours of the garden by butterfly experts Elizabeth
White-Olsen and Glenn Olsen from Go Native, the garden designers. Butterflies require both nectar and
host plants. We can offer information on those plants to increase your success at attracting them to
your yard.
The official ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 10:30. Information on how to grow your own
butterfly friendly garden and free seeds to start planting are available. There will be a free craft project
from 10am -noon. A face painter and balloon twister are also part of the fun. Sidewalk chalk and bubbles
will add to the festivities. As a bonus anyone dressed in a butterfly costume will receive a small reward.
Food trucks are also planned.
If you have time, we are in need of several volunteers to help with small tasks. Contact the committee
at [email protected].
Parking is recommended at the Fall Creek Elementary School for a short walk to the Enclave Park. Please
bring your amenity badge if you will be accessing the pool restrooms.
