The Fall Creek Annual Meeting of Members will be held December 13, 2016 at Fall Creek Elementary. At this meeting the members will elect Two (2) Directors for a position on a five (5) member Board of Directors. Below are the candidates:
Thomas Jackson
In 2008 Kim and I had a new home built in Fall Creek and we moved in that November. We choose Fall Creek for its location, being family oriented and the overall beauty of the development.
I have been working in the Oil & Gas industry for the past 44 years with the last 25 years at Bechtel, Oil & Gas Division here in Houston. My occupation with Bechtel is managing Control Systems engineering and design. I have a BS in Electrical Engineering and my work has taken me across the globe for engineering, design, construction and startup.
One of my assignments has been the Control Systems Global Chief. My experience in managing large teams in Houston and oversite of other offices such as London, Calgary, New Delhi and Shanghai gives me experience in dealing with diverse issues.
For the community in Fall Creek I have been involved with the issues concerning P-133, the perennial waterway that runs through Fall Creek on the west side of the development. I have engaged the County Commissioner’s Court, Harris County Flood Control District (HCFCD), Commissioner Jack Cagle, Water Control and Improvement District (WCID) 96 and Congressman Gene Green in encouraging their help to get repairs started sooner than later.
Jonathan Jones
I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. I joined the Navy when I turned eighteen and served for 2 years onboard the aircraft carrier USS Kittyhawk. Upon receiving an Honorable Discharge, I returned to Colorado to attend college where I received my Chemical Engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines. I later received an MBA from the University of Colorado. I currently work as a manager for a major corporation in the energy business. I have 19 years of professional experience and am a licensed engineer in two states.
I’ve been married for 16 years to my beautiful wife who is a native of Texas and we have 3 wonderful daughters who are ages 8, 11, and 12.
We have been living in Fall Creek since 2007 and I have had the honor of serving as the board secretary for the last 2 years. While my professional qualifications are important I do not feel that they alone qualify me to continue in my current position on the board. I hope that my strongest qualification is my demonstrated willingness to serve the neighborhood with my time for the last 3 years both on the pool committee and the board. During my service as your secretary I’ve played a key role in several of the board’s accomplishments include:
- Implementation of improved IT and collaboration tools to improve the effectiveness of the property management company, the committees, and the board
- Implementation of AV equipment to improve the quality of our meetings
- Revising and bidding the pool contract to improve the service to the neighborhood
- Revising and bidding the property management contract to improve the service to the neighborhood
- Development and implementation of the improved access system
- Development and implementation of committee guidelines
Fall Creek is an amazing neighborhood and truly stands out from many areas of the city. I believe we are headed in a positive direction and I would like to continue to be your neighborhood representative. I commit to continue to listen to your concerns and act in the best interests all residents. Future focus areas will include finalizing the access system, renting of the information center (if not completed in 2016), and development of capital improvement forecasts.
I would appreciate your vote in December.
Stephen Kradjian
I’ve lived in Houston for over twenty years and resided in Fall Creek since 2009 with my wife and two children. I earned an MBA in Finance from Rice University and have over 30 years’ experience in commercial real estate, currently overseeing the Asset Management group at Boxer Property. I am an inaugural member of the Fall Creek HOA Board serving as Treasurer since 2015. I am proud to be a part of the HOA team that has produced:
- Dramatically reduced crime within the community
- Improved pool and recreational facilities
- Better management companies representing our interests
- Streamlined access systems
I look forward to having the chance to continue to represent the community going forward.
